Giving examples, scenarios, and as much specific detail as possible, tell us how they
- helped students to learn outside the classroom
- supported you and others to succeed
- surpassed the expectations of their role
- provided effective pastoral and wellbeing care that made a difference
- offered guidance and advice you couldn’t get anywhere else
This (by no means exhaustive) list will be used to shortlist nominations.
Thank you for getting involved with the UUSU Learning & Teaching Awards! To help ensure your nomination is submitted correctly here’s a few points to consider.
- You are able to nominate one or more people in each category? If you would like to nominate more than one person or group per category, please submit your first nomination and then repeat the form.
- Please ensure you read the full description and criteria for each award and nominate the right person for the right award and for the right reasons.
- Please note that any nominations that do not fit the category brief may be moved to a more relative category based on the information you have submitted.
- We cannot accept submissions following the close of nominations.
- Though these awards UUSU want to not only share the love but also the incredible best practices you have told us about. Each nominee will be provided with details of their nominations including who it was submitted by. UUSU may also share anonymised data to evidence and reflect the real time student journey across all aspects of learning and teaching at Ulster University.
As a student led awards event we will as far as possible invite student nominators for those shortlisted will be invited to join us for the celebration black-tie awards event on 30th May in the Ebrington Hotel, Derry~Londonderry
