When you register at Ulster University you are automatically a member of the Students’ Union (UUSU). We are here to Represent, Support and Connect you whilst you are studying. We have loads of events planned for Freshers’ Week.

The UUSU Buddy Scheme helps new students settle into university life by connecting them with a student buddy who can offer support, answer questions, and help them settle into university life. If you are a returning student who feels equipped to help a fellow student settle into University Life please read on and find out how you can apply to be a Buddy Volunteer!

Freshers Live Music: 23rd September 7am - 11:55pm; Your Campus Bar - Belfast, Coleraine & Magee; Live Music from 7pm

Core games night: 23rd September 6pm - 10:30pm; MG building bunker/games room; Every Wednesday Core holds a games night filled with tons of fun! From consoles to DnD, TCG to warhammer, Core offers something for everyone! You can join our discord to learn what will be happening week by week!

FoMSF Bingo without Borders: 23rd September 8:30pm - 10:30pm; Abercorn Bar, 42 Abercorn Rd, Londonderry BT48 6SA; UU Friends of MSF presents: Bingo with out borders!! Join us for this years first event, a Bingo-Loco style night, with games, prizes and more!

Breakfast Club: 24th September 8:15am - 9:15am; UUSU Social Space; Free breakfast from 8.15am until 9.15am each day during Freshers Week.

Belfast Freshers Fayre: 24th September 9:30am - 3:30pm; BC Foyer and BC lower ground foyer; Step into freshers fayre and check out everything that student life has to offer on your campus! Societies, clubs, freebies, tempting treats and your friendly UUSU staff are all waiting for you
