UUSU unveils bilingual campus signage following eight-year student campaign

Ulster University Students’ Union (UUSU) has unveiled new bilingual signage (English and Irish) across its campuses, marking the culmination of an eight-year student-led campaign for greater visibility and recognition of the Irish language on campus.

Coffee and a Question: 27th April 10:30am - 11:30am; Level 1, outside the library; Stop by for some free tea and coffee and a chance to chat about the big questions around faith and beliefs of christianity!!

Planting for summer: 27th April noon - 2pm; All campus Wellbeing Gardens; Take a mindful break from your studies to plant summer bulbs. Enjoy the fresh air and reconnect with nature at our Wellbeing Garden

Marxist Discussions - 450 Job Cuts: 27th April 6pm - 8pm; Social Space, BC Building, Level 1; Ulster University plans to cut 14% of staff. That means worse education, less support, and workers paying the price - while management still spends big. We say enough is enough. Students and staff - come together and kick the capitalists out!

CU Small groups bible study: 27th April 7:30pm - 9:30pm; BA chaplaincy; Join us to open the Bible together, as we study and discuss what it says!

Politics Society - Final Event for 2025/26: 28th April 5:30pm - 7:30pm; UUSU Belfast Social Space; An evening of political discussion with the Ulster University Belfast Politics Society.
