Each month we pick a Rep & Staff of the Month who has been doing amazing things to make a positive impact on the student experience at Ulster University!
Winners receive a voucher, a certificate and UUSU website endorsements so they can highlight it and about it on their CVs. We also interview them to find out what makes them such an amazing rep.
To be eligible to be awarded, we are looking for examples of how a rep or staff have positively impacted the student experience of students at Ulster.
Maybe they have worked on resolving a particularly tough student issue which involved lots of skills such as negotiation or collecting data. Maybe they've gone above and beyond and started an initiative to better their School/Course.
Once a month, the Student Voice Team, along with the VP Education review the nominations and pick a winner. We consider all the nominations each month, so even if you made a submission one month and they didn’t get it they might get chosen the next month.
It could be a staff member, your peers, or a housemate. We just want to recognise the significant effort of our reps and staff. The only rule is you cannot nominate yourself!
