Violence Against Women and Girls is a crisis that demands urgent attention. Addressing violence against women and girls requires collective action from all corners of society: government, law enforcement, educators, employers, and community members. Laws need to be stronger and more effectively enforced, while attitudes and behaviours need to change at the grassroots level.
At UUSU we are dedicated to doing our part in ending violence against women and girls, it is a key campaign strand this year.
This week we will be showing up and showing support by protesting vioelnce agaisnt women in Belfast and Derry/Londonderry.
