The UOTC society in Ulster aims to provide a base for students keen to learn more about opportunites within the UOTC. Our team is available around the clock to answer any queries or concerns raised by our members, There is no commitment to join the UOTC by joining this society!

Members can get exclusive insights into what we do inside the UOTC through our social media sites. Every member from the team will be on campus if there is anything you'd like to ask in regards to applying or learning more about the development of interpersonal skills that will benefit a students career into their chosen pathways along with achieveing their chosen degrees!

WHAT IS THE UOTC?

The University Officers’ Training Corps is an Army Reserve unit in Belfast that recruits from universities and regional (further education) colleges.

Affiliated universities and colleges include:
Ulster University, St Mary’s University College, Stranmillis University College, Belfast Metropolitan College, Northern Regional College,
Southern Regional College, South Eastern Regional College, North West Regional College, South West College and the College of
Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise and Queens' University.

You are under no obligation to join the Regular Army or Army Reserves after your time with the UOTC finishes.

The UOTC offers a diverse range of skills and development for students. There is opportunities for leadership development, military training, adventure training, education and learning, and sport and social activities in both Northern Ireland and overseas. Training, Overseas events and other activies are all designed to fit around and support your academic studies.

Furthermore, UOTC has a fantastic social calendar with formal events, cocktails parties and fancy dress! This organisation is close knit and there is an opportunities to make friends for life.
