Alliance Society Belfast

We aim to actively promote a liberal and shared society based on inclusion, diversity and tolerance across Northern Ireland.

Alliance is a voice for liberal students at Ulster. Together with the Alliance Party, we actively promote a liberal and shared society based on inclusion, diversity and tolerance in Northern Ireland.

Our members, through our executive committee, set the agenda on how we operate and which issues we tackle. Previous campaigns have included tackling racism, child poverty, and human trafficking, as well as specific domestic issues facing young people, such as mental health care, tuition fees, sustainable transport and LGBT+ rights.

We organise campaigns and events throughout the year in partnership with Alliance Youth, so there’s plenty to do. As well as tackling issues important to us, we also help our members to become involved in the main party and ensure that young peoples voices are heard within the party!

Together we will build a more liberal, progressive type of politics in Northern Ireland - join us to help make it happen!
