Hey everybody, CORE gaming night will be back this Wednesday 25th September in the Rock Road Social / The Bunker from 6pm - 10:30pm. All students and past members are welcome, this event will be free of charge and no tickets or armbands are required!
The running events we've got planned include:
Mario Kart 8 Tournament
Put your racing skills to the test in an all out tourney in Mario Kart 8! In a head to head 1v1 style bracket. Sign-ups open from 6.00pm - 7.00pm!
GameCube controllers only (these will be provided)
Ruleset will be decided on the day
Warhammer 40K Pariah Nexus
Come on down for a 500pt Tournie, no holds barred with the new Pariah Nexus mission deck with a few intro games available if time allows.
Players play a single game, top VP scorer wins. If a draw, check the points values of the remaining units at the end of the battle.
The winner of this fixed mission tourney, will receive a custom 3D model printed, within the diameters of 70x70x70mm!
Betrayal at House on the Hill
Nathan will be running the classic Betrayal at House on the Hill board game. Drop by for a spooky time!
Players all begin as allies exploring a haunted house filled with dangers, traps, items, and omens. As players journey to new parts of the mansion, room tiles are chosen at random and placed on the game board; this means that the game is different each session. Eventually the "haunt" begins, with the nature and plot of this session's ghost story revealed; one player usually "betrays" the others and takes the side of the ghosts, monsters, or other enemies, while the remaining players collaborate to defeat them.
Dungeons 'n' Dragons (Lelora)
If you joined us last week for character creation with Malakai, they will be running a campaign Homebrew world of high fantasy called Lelora. For anyone who wants to join, just check availability with Malakai at the event.
Casual Beyblade Battles
If you too are interested in the spectator sport of the century, we usually have a few folks having some casual Beyblade battles if you wanna just watch or let it rip yourself (beyblades i mean).
Along with all this, PlayStations, Xbox Series S and board games will be set up as usual for use at your own leisure.
