Festive Volunteering

Monday 25 November 2024

10am - 4pm

Can you spare an hour this festive season?

We're running a "Jolabokaflod" event. It's an Icelandic tradition which translates as "Christmas Book Flood" where people gift books to one another at Christmas time. We'll be flooding our campuses with pre loved books during the first week in December for staff and students to gift or enjoy over the festive period. All proceeds from the book sale will go to The British Red Cross, our charity of the year.

All our books will be lovingly wrapped in advance of the sale by UUSU Volunteers - that's you! If you can spare an hour to help, please sign up here.

Otherwise, we would gratefully receive any pre loved books in good condition which you are happy to donate. Please drop them off to the UUSU office on your campus.

Thankyou!
