Join us as we celebrate Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights.

Diwali symbolises the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance".

During the festival, celebrants illuminate their homes with oil lamps, candles and lanterns. Diwali is also marked with fireworks as well as the decoration of floors with Rangoli designs.

We'll be creating some Rangoli designs on Friday 1st November to decorate the UUSU Social Space.
