Networks
|
Women’s Empowerment Network (WEN) is a community for our students who have a passion for gender equality, addressing misogyny and lobbying for issues raised by the membership. Through this network, membership can raise awareness of societal or localised issues, promote organisations working in this area and lobby for positive change.
DEN stands for ‘Disability Empowerment Network,’ it is one of our networks that specifically aims to provide students with additional needs with support and guidance.

Campaigns
|
We’re here to stand up for you and to make the changes you want to see,
both within Ulster University and the wider world too. At UUSU we work with students, with external organisations, and national campaigning groups to defend and extend your rights. This year the main campaigns we are focusing on are cost of living, tackling violence against women & girls, mental health, Irish Language plus advocacy & EDI.
