Accessing Social Housing

Housing stock remains in very short supply and it is important you have realistic expectations. You will likely be assessed under the Housing Selection Scheme and awarded points in accordance with your circumstances. Homelessness

If you are homeless you should present in person to any housing association or the Housing Executive, if you meet their threshold then you will be provided with emergency temporary accommodation. You should contact The Advice Bureau too, we will help you access any support or adjustments required during your studies.

Compensation and allowances

Issues such as repairs or applications for allowances should be raised with your relevant body, The Advice Bureau can signpost you to your rights and are here to support you in a multitude of ways. You can get in touch via the contact form.
