The Ulster University Students’ Union recognise and celebrate our outstanding and fantastic students. Nominations for the awards close 22 March 2017.
Our awards reward the individuals and teams of students who give their time freely to make a positive contribution to the experience of our students, and our local communities. This year the awards will take place on Tuesday 2nd May at The City Hotel, Derry.
Awards are granted on the basis of a number of factors, depending on the category. We ask for nominations in each category and this evidence will be looked at in combination with additional quantitative evidence from records held centrally by UUSU.
This guidance sets out each category, the criteria for each, and notes on how to submit the best nomination possible for your chosen person/group.
The selection panel for the awards will consist of UUSU staff and Student Officers, who will review all evidence available.
Nominations are requested for all categories and will contribute to the scores for each award – however, UUSU will include all societies and shortlist according to the scoring.
