Hey guys!! I hope you have been enjoying your time in University.
I can happily say that we had our Creativity and Diversity Big Lunch Event, working close with Ulster University staff to ensure international staff and students from the commonwealth and came together to connect. We had lovely music and henna tattoos for the staff and students everyone seemed to enjoy it, was a very good day.
We had our student voice forum in the Belfast campus. In attendance was the Provost of Belfast & Jordanstown Raffaella Folli, the Deputy Vice Chancellor Alastair Adair, Chief Operating Officer Niamh Lamond and the new Director of Campus Life, Amanda Castray.

Pro Vice Chancellor of Education Paul Bartholomew, came to the Belfast campus to present the new ‘Degree Algorithm’. This only affects students who graduate in 2020, the voting shall begin soon don’t worry we will keep you posted.
The options are:
2nd year 30% 3rd Year 70%
2nd year 40% 3rd year 60%.
We also had our Student Excellence Awards, this was a huge success thanks to our two Student Activities Coordinators Karen Pothin and Catherine Quinn. I was very happy to have been your host for the event, I felt very proud and privileged to announce and congratulate the winners.
Lastly before you all finished and started to begin your exams we had our Rent Rights campaign. Ensuring you all are aware of your rights before signing a contract on a new house this coming term. I hope you all enjoyed it and received the information you needed.
